TOM DUSTIN: PORTRAIT OF A COMEDIAN is a documentary directed and produced by comedian Joe List (“Tuesdays with Stories”, Louis CK's FOURTH OF JULY) about the divergent lives and careers of lifelong friends and comedians Tom Dustin and Joe List. While Joe’s career continues to ascend to new heights, Tom finds himself regretting roads not taken. Shot in Key West, Florida, “Tom Dustin: Portrait Of A Comedian” explores the two comics' friendship as well as their shared struggles with depression, anxiety and alcohol. It’s a bare bones film about comedy, friendship, gratitude, chances lost and taken, and the strange, strange island of Key West.

Joe List is an American stand-up comedian, writer, and actor best known for his comedy specials “I Hate Myself”, “This Year’s Material” and “Enough For Everybody”, as well as his starring role in the feature film, FOURTH OF JULY (directed by Louis CK). During Joe’s two decade tenure as a comedian, he has released three specials, earned a spot as a finalist on NBC's “Last Comic Standing”, starred in season 2 of Netflix's “The Stand Ups” and appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman”, “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” and “Conan”. List’s albums 'So Far No Good' and 'Are You Mad at Me?' (through Comedy Central Records) can frequently be heard on Sirius Radio. Joe currently serves as the co-host of the popular weekly podcast “Tuesdays with Stories' alongside comedian Mark Normand as well as his own podcast “Mindful Metal Jacket”. Based in New York City, List can be seen regularly at The Comedy Cellar.
